How to Claim

INTIMATION


Customer intimates the claim to ELECTRONICSEWA at Number 9555500099/011-49696969 within 48 hours of occurrence and gets Claim Intimation Reference Number (CIRN).

Immediately after intimation, following procedure to be followed CLAIM DOCUMENTS TO BE DOWNLOADED FROM THE WEBSITE:- www.electronicsewa.com

FOR THEFT CLAIM


Claimant to send the following documents by E-mail to care@electronicsewa.com

  • Within 48 hours of loss of handset block your SIM card and get a written ‘SIM Blocked’ (in case of mobile handset).
  • Confirmation from any authorized outlet of your telecom operator, as per the format available at www.electronicsewa.com.
  • Within 48 hours, intimate the police and get an FIR for theft. And signed Police Complaint letter as per the format available at www.electronicsewa.com.
  • Theft Claim form (download from www.electronicsewa.com), duly filled and signed.
  • SIM blocked Confirmation duly signed and stamped by authorized outlet of the service provider (in case of mobile handset).
  • Copy of Police Intimation duly signed and stamped by the police department.
  • The original invoice of the gadget/mobile handset.
  • Covering Letter.
  • Signature cum ID proof such as driving license, passport & pan card etc.
  • Any other document as may be required by the respective insurer.
  • Claim form should be complete in all respect & duty signed. Failing which

    Insurer may at its sole discretion, proceed and provide suitable claim decision.

FOR DAMAGE CLAIM


Gadget to be taken to Authorized Service Centre OR Service Centre identified by electronicsewa & Estimate for Repair’ to be obtained.

Claimant to send the following documents by E-mail to care@electronicsewa.com

  • Claim Forms duly filled signed and scanned.
  • All of the above to be downloaded from www.electronicsewa.com.
  • Scanned copy of Estimate from Authorised Service Centre/Service Centre identified by ELECTRONICSEWA.
  • If the damaged gadget is beyond economical repair, certification by the Authorized Service Centre/Service Centre identified by ELECTRONICSEWA that the gadget is beyond repair. Scanned copy of the beyond economical repair certificate will be required .
  • 3 scanned Photos of the damaged gadget showing damage and in case of mobile handset/gadget with IMEI NO.then,1 photo showing IMEI No. and other 2 showing damage.
  • Scanned copy Signature cum ID proof such as driving license, passport & pan card etc.
  • Cash Receipt or Invoice of Repair from Service Centre for the repaired gadget.
  • Any other document as may be required by the respective Insurer.
  • Claim form should be complete in all respect & duty signed. Failing which insurer may at its sole discretion. Proceed and provide suitable claim decision.
  • For Repair - customer will have to pay 10% of repair bill or Rs 500 whichever is higher.

On Receipt of above mentioned documents, the approved claim amount will be credited to claimant’s account in 30 to 35 working days.

DELHI and NCR

In case of DELHI and NCR claims, the company will give your repaired gadget, within 10 to 15 working days after approval from insurer and it also depends upon the spares availability at the concerned repair service Centre.

If claim is approved on TOTAL LOSS BASIS, following documents IN ORIGINAL are to be sent:

Claimant to send the following documents by E-mail to care@electronicsewa.com

  • Claims forms duly filled and signed.
  • All of the above to be downloaded from www.electronicsewa.com.
  • Original Estimate from Authorised Service Centre OR Service Centre identified by ELECTRONICSEWA that the gadget is beyond repair.
  • 3 Photos of the damaged gadget showing damage and in case of mobile/gadet with IMEI No. then, 1 photo showing IMEI No. and other 2 showing damage.
  • Invoice of the Gadget.
  • Scanned copy Signature cum ID proof such as driving license, passport& pan card etc.
  • Damaged gadget/mobile handset.
  • Any other document as may be required by the respective Insurer.
  • Claim form should be complete in all respect & duly signed, failing which insurer may, at its sole discretion, proceed and provide suitable claim decision.

On receipt of above mentioned documents, the approved claim amount will be credited to claimant’s account in 30 to 35 working days.
